The Château:

Château Correnson is just outside the village (500 metres). The property is surrounded with stone walls and also comprises a vineyard outside the walls.
A local wine grower makes our own wine (Côtes du Rhône and Lirac appelation).

The most ancient part of the château is the heavy paving in the dining-room (12th century). The four buildings dates back to the 17th and 18th century.

Our predecessor transformed the château into a hotel-restaurant. Before 1989, it used to be a wine estate. The rectangular courtyard, with a fountain, a well and a fish pond, is sourrounded by distinct buildings.

The main building,

the château, is a big 3-storeyed mansion (incl. ground floor)
The ground floor consists of a kitchen, dining-room,
lounge, library, six bed-rooms with bathroom
en suite and air conditioning.

The "Magnanerie"

(formerly a silkworm breeding barn)
is a long rectangular building restored in 1989:
it consists of 7 budget-type bed-rooms with
bathroom en suite and air conditioning, one studio (for families).

The terraced park

is encircled with a thick stone wall.
There is a wide variety of tree species
(evergreen trees, fruit trees, bamboos,...)
Tables and benches are located indifferent
parts of the park.

A big swimming pool (18m/9m) is
on the upper terrace of the park.

As a whole, the place is very quiet
and whoever wishes to be by themselves
can do so either in the park or indoors.
