The village: Saint-Geniès-de-Comolas is a village in the Rhône Valley
at the crossroads between Provence and Languedoc. 
Nearby are Avignon (airport, TGV train station, 20 minutes away by car), 
Châteauneuf-du-Pape (10 minutes), Nîmes (40 minutes) all of which are 
known throughout the world, either for their festivals, Roman vestiges or vineyards. 
The Camargue is one hour away by car. Montpellier can be reached by car or 
by train in one hour. Nice, a famous place in the Côte d'Azur, 
is less than 3 hours away.

The village offers most essential facilities and amenities: a grocer, 
a café, a pharmacy, a post office, a town hall, a church, a bus stop 
(Avignon is easy to reach by bus).
