Label qualité français langue étrangère:

L'Etat engage, dès cette année, une démarche d'assurance qualité auprès des centres de Français Langue Etrangère en France.
Plus de 100 000 personnes viennent chaque année en France suivre des cours de français. Près de 300 centres aux statuts les plus divers, publics, privés, associatifs, offrent leurs services. Le besoin d'un catalogue raisonné, s'appuyant sur des critères validés qui facilitent le choix, était donc légitimement ressenti comme une nécessité par les utilisateurs individuels comme par les postes diplomatiques français qui orientent les publics étrangers.

C'est pourquoi les ministères de l'Education Nationale, de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche (Direction de l'enseignement supérieur), des Affaires étrangères (Direction générale de la coopération internationale et du développement) et de la Culture et de la Communication (Délégation générale à la langue française et aux langues de France) ont décidé de confier au CIEP, la mise en ouvre d'un dispositif de labellisation des centres de Français Langue Etrangère implantés sur le territoire français. Cette démarche permettra d'identifier, de reconnaître et de promouvoir les lieux de formation dont l'offre linguistique et les services présentent les garanties de qualité attendues.

Dès 2007, tous les centres de langue en France qui dispensent un enseignement du français à un public d'étrangers et répondent à un ensemble de critères objectifs pourront se voir délivrer le label "Qualité français langue étrangère".

Quality certified French as a foreign language (FFL):

The State undertakes, beginning this year, a program of quality control applicable to all centers teaching French as a foreign language in France.
More than 100,000 people come each year to France to enroll in French language classes. Nearly 300 centers of all different sorts – public, private, associative – offer their services. The need for a well-reasoned catalogue, constructed from standard criteria meant to facilitate one’s choice, was therefore deemed to be necessary for individual beneficiaries of the educational system as well as French diplomatic bodies that deal with the foreign public.

That is why the Ministries of National Education, Higher Education and Research, (Directorate of Higher education), Foreign Affairs (Directorate general of international cooperation and development) and of Culture and Communication (General delegation for the French language and languages of France) have decided to grant the CIEP the responsibility of creating a system for the labeling and certification of French as a foreign language (FFL) centers located within the confines of the French territory. This initiative will make it possible to identify, recognize and promote the different educative institutions which consistently present language instruction and services of the guaranteed high quality that is to be expected.
Beginning in 2007, all the centers in France teaching French to foreigners and satisfying a list of objective criteria will be able to receive the label of “Quality FFL”

Qualitätszertifikat für Französisch als Fremdsprache (FFL):

Anfang dieses Jahres übernimmt der Staat ein Qualitätskontrollprogramm einsetzbar in allen Zentren in Frankreich für Französisch als Fremdsprache .

Pro Jahr kommen über 100,000 Besucher nach Frankreich und nehmen an Sprachkursen teil. Ungefähr 300 Zentren bieten diese Kurse an, darunter staatliche, private und assoziative Zentren. Das Bedürfnis nach einem aus Standardkriterien konstruierten und gut-durchdachten Katalog für eine mühelose Suche wurde zur Notwendigkeit für die vom Bildungswesen profitierenden Kandidaten und für französische diplomatische Vertretungen, die mit Ausländern zu tun haben.

Aus diesem Grund haben die Ministerien für nationale Bildung, höhere Bildung und Forschung (Direktionsstelle für höhere Bildung), Außenministerium (General-Direktionsstelle für internationale Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung) und Kultur und Kommunikation (General-Delegation für die Französische Sprache) dem CIEP die Verantwortung gegeben, ein Auszeichnungs- und Bescheinungssystem für Zentren von Französisch als Fremdsprache (FFL) innerhalb von Frankreich zu entwickeln. Durch diese Initiative können die verschiedenen Bildungszentren, welche konstant Sprachlehre und Dienste von der zu erwarteten Qualität anbieten, identifiziert, erkannt und gefördert werden.

Ab 2007 werden Zentren für Französisch als Fremdsprache, die bestimmte Kriterien erfüllen, mit dem Qualitätssiegel “Quality FFL” ausgezeichnet.
