TCF Exam
The TCF is an exam organised by FEI (France Education International). The TCF confirms the level you have reached at the time you take the exam. TCF is intended for several categories of people hence the existence of several forms of TCF.
TCF TP (Tout public): to evaluate the ability of a candidate to use French for general purposes in social, holiday, professional or academic situations.
TCF Integration, Résidence et Nationalité: for individuals applying for French citizenship who must have an official proof of their level of French being equal to B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). For individuals applying for a “carte de resident”, to have an official proof of their level of spoken French being equal to A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
TCF Q (Québec): for a visa application to Quebec, required by the Ministry of Immigration and the Cultural Communities of Quebec.
